A high school in Arlington, Texas ended spring break with tragedy after one student shot and killed another.

Police say that two Lamar County High School students were waiting for the school to open yesterday morning after a week off when they were shot at.

Arlington Police Chief Al Jones said a male student died in the shooting. One female student has non life-threatening injuries.

Police arrested the shooter, whose name has not been released, without incident. The police chief said it did not appear to be a planned mass shooting like Robb Elementary School nearly one year ago.
