Big Tech platforms banning Russian media from advertising after invasion of Ukraine

In Europe, YouTube decided to block channels directly connected to Russian state-backed media outlets RT and Sputnik. Meta, parent company of Facebook and Instagram, said it would be restricting access to RT and Sputnik as well on its platforms across the European Union.
