Multiple reports have confirmed Wednesday that former NFL fan-favorite Tony Siragusa, known affectionately as “The Goose,” has died at the age of 55.

Siragusa was a talented lineman who played 12 NFL seasons for Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens. He helped guide the Ravens to their first Super Bowl victory in 2000 as part of a historically dominant defense. Younger fans also remember him as a colorful on-field analyst for many years on Fox NFL Sunday after his playing days were over.

Colts’ owner Jim Irsay said Wednesday, “The Goose, Tony Siragusa has passed away at 55.. I’m heart broken as is all of Colts Nation.”

At this time, Siragusa’s cause of death is unknown. FISM News will follow any developments in this story as they arise, and we ask you to pray for Siragusa’s family as they mourn his passing.
