DragCon LA tries to draw in younger crowds via sponsorships

Los Angeles hosted a drag convention this past weekend which heavily targeted children.

DragCon LA featured over 180 drag performers, and met this past weekend at the LA Convention Center. Of note were the events sponsors. It was sponsored by the Los Angeles Public Library, Paramount +, and – perhaps the strangest of all – the Teletubbies.

One photo even showed the Teletubbies dancing onstage during the event. Other videos posted online show disturbing imagery of children surrounded by sexual paraphernalia and parents toting around their boys in drag.

A group of protestors were seen outside the venue holding up signs with Bible verses and shouting through a megaphone at attendees.
