The Federal Reserve voted to hold interest rates steady Wednesday but signaled that future hikes are on their way.

Fed Chair Jerome Powell announced the unchanged range of 5.25% to 5.5%. This comes as Inflation accelerated in August to 3.7%, driven largely by soaring gas prices.

Thursday morning, Financial Issues host Shana Burt suggested Powell might be holding his cards close to his chest.
