Hunter Biden is again facing public scrutiny. It was revealed earlier this week that he was sent official communications regarding Ukraine while his father was vice president.
According to a Freedom of Information Act request, John Flyyn, an aide to then-Vice President Joe Biden, copied Hunter Biden on an email about a call with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
The call in May of 2016 was reportedly about dismissing a Ukrainian prosecutor looking into the energy company – Burisma – which was paying Hunter Biden almost a million dollars a year.
Joe Biden later bragged about having the prosecutor fired, saying that he threatened to withhold a billion dollars’ worth of foreign aid if it didn’t happen.
The news comes after recent allegations from Burisma employees that Hunter Biden extracted $10 million in bribes from the company.
Further emails show Hunter Biden’s position at Burisma was approved by the Vice President despite denials that Joe Biden was involved in Hunter’s business dealings.
