FISM News has covered the disturbing events surrounding Joshua Duggar’s recent arrest for possession of child pornography.   Joshua Duggar is the oldest child of the famously large Duggar family and former TLC star on the family’s original series 19 Kids and Counting.  The 33-year old was arrested in the spring of 2021, and according to several sources, his court case has now been delayed until November of 2021.

TLC also recently canceled the second iteration of Duggar family reality TV, Counting On.  This show, airing since 2015, had replaced 19 Kids and Counting after it was slashed by TLC for revelations that the eldest Duggar had sexually abused several younger girls, including some of his younger sisters, when he was a teenager.  The network told People Magazine,

TLC will not be producing additional seasons of Counting On.  TLC feels it is important to give the Duggar family the opportunity to address their situation privately.

Duggar’s possible sentence could be much more severe than originally reported.  If convicted, he now faces up to 40 years in prison, along with hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines.  He has plead not guilty for possession of child pornography.

FISM News will continue to cover this troubling development.
