Christian entertainment is celebrating another win this week. Lionsgate just acquired distribution rights to the beloved hit series, ‘The Chosen.’
Creator and director of the show Dallas Jenkins said that Lionsgate was the perfect choice for them. He said “We’ll continue to do what we do best unabated, and they will expand our efforts with their tremendous distribution team.”
Meanwhile, the President of Worldwide Distribution at Lionsgate called Jesus Christ an “important historical figure.” He said that “the more I learned about ‘The Chosen,’ the more I wanted to ensure that it is on the best platforms across the globe.”
He added that he’s excited to “elevate” the series to the next level of worldwide recognition and popularity.”
