MLB quietly dissuading Pride-themed gear

The MLB has informed players and teams that they are no longer required to wear so-called Pride uniforms. The decision comes after several teams found difficulty in enforcing their use.

Teams were reportedly required to use the uniforms during scheduled pride night games. Only one team, the Texas Rangers, has consistently refused to schedule pride night games and never implemented the use of LGBT uniforms.

Other teams, such as the San Francisco Giants and the embattled Los Angeles Dodgers, have announced that they will continue the use of pride uniforms.

Meanwhile, the Tampa Bay Rays quietly announced that they would no longer use the uniforms after several players reportedly refused to wear them.

The decision comes as the Dodgers plan to honor the LGBT anti-Catholic hate group the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. The team had previously canceled its plans to honor the group but quickly reinvited them following backlash from LGBT activists.
