Netanyahu signals long-term plans for Gaza will be against Biden’s wishes

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may have just answered one of the biggest questions about Israel’s war against Hamas – namely what happens once it’s over.

Speaking to ABC News yesterday, Netanyahu admitted Israel will likely have to occupy Gaza for some time after the fighting ends. The plan defies the wishes of President Joe Biden.

Pentagon Spokesman John Kirby says President Biden stands by those beliefs, telling CNN he believes reoccupation is “not good for Israel; not good for the Israeli people.”
