Gaige Grosskreutz, a former paramedic, claimed he was at the scene to aid the injured as he had done at previous Black Lives Matters demonstrations and he followed Rittenhouse sensing that there would be trouble. However, the defense highlighted inconsistencies in the witness’ testimony as he did not tell police that he was also armed at the time.
