Tuesday night’s sports action saw a continuation of MLB League Championship Series action, while the NBA 2021-2022 regular season also kick-started.

The Los Angeles Dodgers willed themselves to a win in a crucial game 3 of the National League Championship Series. After digging themselves into an early hole, they rallied to put four runs on the board in the 8th inning to give them a 6-5 win over the Atlanta Braves and avoid a 3-0 series deficit. First baseman Cody Bellinger hit a 3 run homerun to tie the game, sending the full-capacity crowd at Dodger Stadium into frenzy.

Mookie Betts followed it up several batters later with a go-ahead double to secure the win.

Game 4 of the series will be back at Dodger Stadium on Wednesday night where the Dodgers hope to even things up. In the American League the Houston Astros tied up their series 2-2 after beating the Boston Red Sox 9-2. Their series will resume Wednesday night in Boston. The winners of these series will meet in the 2021 World Series.

In other sports news the NBA season kicked off last night. The Golden State Warriors defeated the star-studded Los Angeles Lakers 121-114 and the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks beat the Brooklyn Nets 127-104.
