A tragic accident nearly cost a Canadian couple their son, but God turned it into a testament of faith instead.
Waylon Saunders was only 20-months-old back in January, when he fell into the frozen pool at his daycare. It’s estimated he was underwater for around five minutes before being discovered.
When rushed to the hospital, the lifeless toddler was so cold that healthcare workers couldn’t even take his temperature.
But twenty different individuals became part of a life-saving team. For nearly three hours, they performed CPR or held portable heaters to warm up the toddler.
Waylon was released from the hospital three weeks later in a miraculous recovery. He is thriving and celebrated his second birthday earlier this month.
His mother, Gillian Burnett says the incident restored her faith in God.
