Toy companies join transgender push

Toy companies are now releasing “trans” toys that make drag shows seem like child’s play – literally.

According to Consumers’ Research, companies like Mattel, Hasbro, Build-a-Bear and Fisher Price are releasing politically driven toys targeted at young consumers.

For example, Mattel has recently released an American girl picture book encouraging children to rethink the gender they were born with. The company also boasts a trans Ken who wears drag-inspired makeup.

Build-a-Bear has followed suit by releasing teddy bears that mimic Ru Paul’s drag race, while Hasbro came out with a so-called gender-neutral Mr. Potato family.

Fisher Price released a trans toy set encouraging “people young and old to be true to themselves.”
