Viral video shows police arresting Christian protestors at drag event

A video out of Wisconsin has gone viral, showing police arresting Christian protestors outside a drag event. Over the weekend, Watertown police arrested two young men from Mercy Seat Christian Church. Police say they were using a microphone and loudspeaker without a permit.

The two men were part of a larger group of more than 200 people protesting a “Pride in the Park” event. The man who filmed the video said drag queens dressed in lingerie were “dancing and gyrating in front of little children, who were invited to give them one-dollar bills.”

The event garnered national attention when Nazi sympathizers appeared at the performance. They were unaffiliated with the Christian protestors.
