White House cocaine found in different location than first reported

Questions surrounding the cocaine found in the White House continue to mount, as investigators now say the drug was found in a different location than previously reported.

Initial reports said the cocaine was found in a reference lobby, then it was changed to a West Wing “work area.” Now NBC News reports that the drug was found in “a cubby near the White House’s West Executive entrance.”

Investigators are still claiming the area contained heavy traffic, even though it’s right by where the Vice President parks her car.

The investigation was expected to last two weeks, but White House officials now say the report should be finalized by Monday. DNA testing and fingerprint testing is underway, though no suspect has been named as of yet.
