Last week, FISM News covered President Donald Trump’s keynote speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Orlando.  In an unsurprising move, YouTube has removed numerous copies of the former president’s entire speech from its streaming service.  Though parts of the speech are available on Google’s massive video streaming server, the speech in full-form has been taken down.  This act of censorship makes clear that the trend of censoring politically conservative content on big tech servers is still alive and well, even weeks after Donald Trump left the Oval Office in January.

The speech was the culmination of a lively weekend celebrating conservative values and ideologies.  There was a spirit of optimism and patriotism both at the conference and in Donald Trump’s words, despite the disappointing outcome from this past election.  FISM News anchor Samuel Case was present for the former president’s keynote speech live at CPAC.  He described it as a “classic Trump speech through and through.”  He said,

At its core, Trump’s speech was one of hope for a vibrant and strong Conservative movement. From the outset he put to rest the rumors that he might branch off and form a new political party….Trump has given Republicans a renewed vision in a message that has always been at the heart of the Conservative movement…”

Ironically, the theme of CPAC 2021 was “America Uncancelled.”  YouTube is currently doing everything it can to “cancel” Donald Trump while still attempting to appear fair and unbiased.
