2024 presidential race narrows after Super Tuesday

There are some updates to the 2024 presidential race following Super Tuesday results.

Minnesota Rep. Dean Phillips, the long-shot Democratic hopeful, is now out of the race. Phillips endorsed President Joe Biden while noting that time “slows all of us down a bit, including presidents.” That leaves spiritual adviser Marianne Williamson as Biden’s sole competitor for the nomination.

On the other side of the aisle, Nikki Haley dropped out of the race while Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) endorsed former President Donald Trump yesterday despite previous public spats between the two.

Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin also endorsed Donald Trump. He says that the voters have spoken and it’s time to “unite around strong leadership.”
