Israel is now recovering from a recent shooting near Jerusalem.
Three people were killed this morning after two Palestinian men opened fire on Israeli citizens at a bus station near Jerusalem. Local police said that the incident took place during rush hour. Numbers differ on how many people were injured, but Reuters reports that there have been at least eight wounded.
Security camera footage shows the two men getting out of their car by the crowded bus stop, brandishing a rifle and handgun. Chaos ensues until the attackers, whom Israeli media identified as brothers associated with Hamas, are shot by police.
National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, who visited the scene shortly afterward, told the press that it proves how Israel must stay committed to fighting Hamas.
