Abbott vows to keep sending illegals to ‘sanctuary cities’

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott says he will continue sending illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities like New York and Chicago, the continuation of a trend he began more than a year ago. He said on X:

Texas has transported over 102,000 migrants to sanctuary cities. Overwhelmed Texas border towns should not bear the brunt of Biden’s open border policies. Our transportation mission will continue until Biden secures the border.

Abbott’s threat coincides with the release of a Rasmussen poll showing that nearly 70% of U.S. voters side with the governor over President Joe Biden when it comes to the border, including more than half who say they strongly support Abbott’s actions.
