Abortion pill warning retracted ahead of SCOTUS hearings

Major studies warning of potential harm posed by the abortion pill are being retracted despite pushback from their authors.

The move comes just weeks before the Supreme Court takes up a case concerning the availability of the drug. The studies were retracted by Sage Publishing yesterday.

Dr. James Studniicki, who helped author the studies, called the retractions “completely unjustified” in an interview with the Daily Wire. He says it was a politically motivated move. All three studies have been used in recent court cases restricting access to the abortion drug, mifepristone.

The publisher denies political bias and says the studies were reviewed by “subject experts” before being pulled.
