The deadly back and forth continues in the Middle East. Six U.S.-allied Kurdish fighters were killed last night in a drone attack in eastern Syria.
The strike was carried out by an Iran-backed group in Iraq and was targeting a base that housed American troops. No Americans were injured in the attack.
This comes as the U.S. struck more than 85 Iranian-linked targets in Iraq on Friday – meant as a response to the deadly attack on U.S. soldiers in Jordan last week. National Security Council Spokesman John Kirby says those strikes are just beginning.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, the U.S. and Britain launched more attacks against Houthi terrorists in Yemen, striking more than 30 targets in hopes of deterring their aggression in the Red Sea.
