Anti-Israel protests erupt across US

San Francisco anti-Israel protests disrupted traffic on the Golden Gate Bridge yesterday.

Protestors were seen holding banners saying, “Stop the world for Gaza” and “End the siege on Gaza now!” Traffic on both sides of the bridge was shut down, and at least seven protesters were arrested. But it wasn’t just San Francisco dealing with demonstrators.

Similar protests broke out in Chicago at O’Hare International Airport and other places such as Philadelphia, Connecticut, Tampa, and San Antonio. One protest was planned in Australia as well. The demonstrations were all seemingly coordinated by the A15 Action Group’s Free Palestine movement.

According to the group’s website, the demonstrations were meant to block “the arteries of capitalism and jam the wheels of production” both in the US and across the globe.
