Anti-Israel protests spread across American campuses

Anti-Israel protests continue to disrupt major universities.

According to Fox News, activist groups at UCLA, the University of Texas at Austin, and Johns Hopkins University all announced protests today. They follow protests at UC Berkeley, Yale, and most notably Columbia, where New York Rep. Anthony D’Espostio says professional activists have taken hold.

Over 100 arrests have already been made. Columbia says it’s making progress with the demonstrators and released a statement this morning saying, “Student protesters will ensure that those not affiliated with Columbia will leave.”

D’Espostio says the University president should resign for allowing the protests to continue. Columbia has switched to hybrid learning for the rest of the semester after a campus Rabbi said the school is no longer safe for Jewish students.
