Antisemitism continues to rock U.S.

Police arrested a Brooklyn man after he seemingly tried to mow down religious Jews in his car on Wednesday.

Authorities say he shouted antisemitic slurs at the time. The episode took place outside a Jewish school and was caught on video. No one was harmed.

Meanwhile, Wayne State University in Detroit became the latest school to call in the police to clear an anti-Israel protest encampment.

The university president said that most of the protestors were not affiliated with the school and resisted “good-faith efforts” to end the encampment without police involvement. Twelve arrests were made yesterday.

Progressive Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) was also present, reportedly on behalf of one person arrested.

Elsewhere, the New College of Florida is considering withholding diplomas from students who shouted pro-Hamas chants during that school’s May 17 commencement.
