Biden condemns ‘disorder’ from campus protesters

In light of the ongoing riots, President Joe Biden finally voiced his disapproval of the issue.

In remarks yesterday, the president said that violent protests and intimidation are not protected by law. At the same time, he also said there is no place for any other racial attacks, including on Palestinian- and Arab-Americans. However, Biden also rejected the need for the National Guard to deal with the protests.

Meanwhile, when White House press secretary Karine Jean Pierre was asked why the president hadn’t spoken up about the protests sooner, she evaded the question and instead affirmed Biden’s commitment to stop antisemitism.
