Biden has not ruled out commuting Hunter’s sentence, WH says

The White House says Joe Biden has not ruled out commuting Hunter’s sentence after the president’s son was convicted on gun charges earlier this week. Biden has already promised he would not pardon his son if convicted but, according to Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, commuting his sentence is another question.

Hunter faces up to 25 years in prison and fines as high as $750,000, though most legal experts believe he will receive a much lighter sentence as he is a first-time offender.
