Biden suggests Congress should offer more help to Secret Service

President Joe Biden responded to the assassination attempt on Donald Trump in Florida by saying that the Secret Service needs more assistance and that Congress has the power to help.

When a reporter asked Biden about specific actions the Secret Service needs or steps Congress should take, Biden responded, “They may decide whether they need more personnel.”

His comments come as Republicans in Congress have accused Biden of not providing enough security for the former president.
