Biden, Trump clinch party nominations

We’re moving ever closer to a rematch between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.

Both of them clinched enough delegates for their parties’ nominations in yesterday’s elections in Georgia, Mississippi, Washington and Hawaii.

Biden said he was “honored” to represent his party when the “threat” posed by Trump is “greater than ever.” Trump, meanwhile, called it a “great day of victory.”

Both Trump and Biden will officially become their party’s nominees at the Republican and Democratic conventions later this summer.
