Blinken urges Hamas to accept ‘very generous’ hostage deal

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Saudi Arabia yesterday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken urged Hamas to accept the latest hostage deal from Israel.

British Foreign Secretary David Cameron, likewise, described the deal as “very generous.” He said it includes a 40-day ceasefire and a possible release of thousands of Palestinian prisoners. In exchange, Israel would receive just 33 out of the 130 hostages still trapped in Gaza.
