The world’s busiest cyber gang is now locked out of its own servers thanks to efforts by the U.S. and Great Britain.

Attorney General Merrick Garland announced this week the two nations heavily disrupted LockBit, a criminal group responsible for 40% of ransomware attacks online and that has affected thousands of victims. The countries have made two arrests so far and indicted three other individuals in connection to the ongoing operation.
