California cracks down on ultrasounds at pregnancy help centers

California continues its abortion extremism by cracking down on ultrasounds at pregnancy help centers.

State Attorney General Rob Bonta has targeted at least 10 Pregnancy Resource Centers with a new law, which states only licensed clinics can perform baby ultrasounds. Critics say the law intentionally strips the centers of their most powerful pro-life tool.

The law carries a fine of $2,500 for the first offense. From there, it rises sharply to $5,000.

The American Center for Law and Justice, or ACLJ, warns that the attorney general is now on a “fishing and intimidation expedition.” They have promised to support the resource centers and to defend them if Bonta steps beyond the bounds of the law.
