Congress interviews James Biden over involvement with family foreign business deals

President Joe Biden’s brother, James Biden, gave a closed-door interview with Congress yesterday concerning his family’s foreign business dealings.

House Republicans say that he contradicted himself multiple times throughout the eight-hour interview, even essentially admitting to being a foreign agent, as he “consulted,” in his words, with Democratic politicians on behalf of the CCP-affiliated company, CEFC.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) says James denied using his older brother to further these business dealings. But Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) says they have records of James, and his nephew Hunter, selling the “brand” of then-Vice President Joe Biden.

The president continues denying involvement with his brother’s and son’s foreign business deals. But Rep. Jason Smith (R-Mo.), who was also present for the closed-door interview, says those same records show Joe Biden was clearly involved.
