The New Hampshire primary also revealed signs of growing divisions among GOP voters.
According to a CBS News exit poll, “Eight in 10 Trump voters would be dissatisfied if Haley were to win the nomination and even more Haley voters would be dissatisfied if Trump becomes the nominee.”
That same poll also shows Trump could be in trouble should his legal problems catch up to him by November. Forty-seven percent of voters say they would consider Trump unfit to be president if convicted; 31% said the same in Iowa.
Despite disagreeing on the candidates, New Hampshire voters largely agreed on the issues, saying that the economy and immigration are their biggest concerns this election cycle. Immigration was a topic Trump hammered home in his victory speech yesterday.
