Germany and the US have announced that they will allow Ukraine to use their long-range missiles on Russian soil. This significant policy change comes at a time when Ukrainian forces are losing ground to Russia.

In the last month, Russian forces have pummeled the Ukrainian border region of Kharkiv. A ballistic missile hit an apartment in the area killing at least six people, according to Ukrainian officials.

The officials also said that Russia is now moving south to the Donetsk region, and they are planning attacks in the north in the Sumy region as well.
