Harris, Walz release pre-recorded interview as campaign dodges press

It’s not just Donald Trump and Republicans criticizing the Harris campaign for ducking interviews as even some members of the media are starting to get frustrated. CNN’s Jim Acosta, a noted Trump critic, called out a Harris spokesman this week for refusing to hold a press conference.

To date, Harris has not given a single interview or press conference since launching her campaign. This week, instead of an actual interview, Harris chose to sit down for a pre-recorded conversation with her running mate, Tim Walz.

Harris supporters praised the video, but it was widely panned by conservatives, many calling it “scripted” and “fake,” especially mocking the more lighthearted moments.
