Hezbollah says it will continue fighting until full ceasefire agreement reached

The Lebanese terror group Hezbollah affirmed that it will continue attacking Israel.

Hezbollah’s deputy leader, Sheikh Naim Kassem, said in an interview with The Associated Press that attacks would continue unless “there is a cease-fire in Gaza.”

However, this would only occur with a formal ceasefire agreement. Kassem said if Israel were to withdraw from the region without such an agreement, their reaction would depend on “its shape, its results, its impacts.”

Kassem said their attacks on Israel have been in “support” of Hamas as Israel moves to eliminate its military and governing capabilities.

But Israel says it is sticking to its guns. Defense Minister Yoav Gallant issued a statement in which he said that Israel is ready “to take any action required in Lebanon, or to reach an arrangement from a position of strength.”
