House GOP requests interview with White House doctor

Republicans are looking for answers from Joe Biden’s doctor on the state of the president’s health.

House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) has requested an interview with White House physician Kevin O’Connor – who following a physical in February described Biden as “fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency.” It should be noted that O’Connor’s report included no mention of a cognitive test, which Biden refuses to take to this day.

This comes as the New York Post reports that White House visitor logs show a Parkinson’s disease expert met with Biden’s doctor earlier this year. Following Biden’s annual physical, Dr. O’Connor said testing had shown “no findings which would be consistent with” Parkinson’s disease.

But some Republicans, such as Sen. Roger Marshall (Kan.), say the American people deserve to know more. Marshall said that, according to his sources, a Parkinson’s specialist has visited the White House 10 times in the past year.
