Hunter Biden declines to attend public testimony

by ian

Hunter Biden will not attend the House Oversight Committee’s public hearing next week.

Hunter’s attorney Abbe Lowell wrote a letter to House Republicans, saying that Hunter “declines your invitation to this carnival sideshow.” His lawyers blame a scheduling conflict, as the hearing is a day before Hunter is set to appear in a California court for tax evasion.

But Former Deputy Assistant Attorney General Tom Dupree told Fox News that this is just another stunt from the Biden team.

The letter includes one caveat – Hunter agreed to show up for the hearing, only if Jared Kushner, who is Donald Trump’s son-in-law, would also be called for a hearing on his alleged foreign business deals.
