Hunter Biden felony gun case begins in Delaware

It’s now Hunter Biden’s turn for court and it comes days after his father, President Joe Biden, proclaimed that “no one is above the law.”

Hunter is accused of falsifying records to purchase a firearm and possessing a firearm while under the influence of narcotics. He faces jail time if convicted of the felonies.

The president escorted his son into the Delaware courthouse ahead of jury selection, saying he’s “proud of the man he is today.”

Hunter also faces a separate trial slated to begin in September for possibly failing to pay $1.4 million in taxes. He’s pled not guilty to all charges. Joe Biden has previously defended his lone surviving son as having “done nothing wrong.”

All eyes will be on the president as the case comes during a busy month with two international trips and a presidential debate on the schedule.
