Israel scored another major victory as their military announced yesterday the death of Hamas financier, Subhi Ferwana.
He was killed in an air strike in the middle of Rafah in the Gaza Strip. Israel says he was involved in transferring tens of millions of dollars to Hamas’ military. They say those funds have been vital to Hamas’ war effort.
The funds were used — among other things — for intensification of military forces, the payment of terrorists’ salaries during the war, and to finance Hamas’ war activities.
His death is the latest in a series of military successes for Israel. The nation now believes it is close to taking control of Hamas’ last strongholds in Northern Gaza.
