Earlier today, Israel announced it has successfully rescued a hostage from the grip of Hamas in what IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari called a “complex operation.”
Few details were given about the operation, other than that the hostage was being held in one of Hamas’ underground terror tunnels at the time.
Medical officials say the hostage, who is male, appears in good condition. Israel estimates 108 hostages remain trapped in Gaza, including eight Americans.
