Irish Christian teacher Enoch Burke was thrown in jail this week after defying a court order telling him to stay away from the school where he used to teach.
Burke was suspended by Wilson’s Hospital School in 2022 for objecting to its transgender policy but has repeatedly returned, claiming he has a duty to his students.
He has spent more than 400 days in prison over the past two years. A hearing is scheduled for Oct. 11.
