In a harrowing report from West Africa, ISIS is flaunting another execution, this time of two soldiers from Nigeria. The terrorist organization’s branch in West Africa, known as the Islamic State in West African Province (ISWAP), recorded the execution of two Nigerian soldiers in a 17-minute video, titled “Makers of Epic Battles.”

To add another level of horror, the ISIS soldier performing the execution is a 12-year old boy. ISIS and other Islamic terrorist organizations are notorious for using children, whom they deem as “Cubs of the Caliphate,” as soldiers, and this time a child was the executioner. The boy killed the two soldiers by shooting them with an AK-47.

An Islamic State researcher summarized the sentiments of many with a statement on Twitter after the video was released, saying, “There are no words to describe how awful it is.”

Some believe that this video was released as a direct response to the death of the newly appointed head of ISWAP, Malam Bako, who was killed last week. Sources indicate that Bako was killed by Nigerian soldiers.

On Monday, The Christian Post shared a heart-wrenching story of a young boy who escaped the child army of Islamist terrorists. Like the boy in the released video, he was forced into killing for the organization at a very young age. He had reportedly lost the ability to feel empathy and pain because of the horrors he experienced in his youth. The boy said of his experience fighting under Islamic terrorists:

When I was with them, they beheaded people in front of my eyes. They cut hands and legs. Now I have no feelings. Even if you kill my father in front of me, I wouldn’t cry. I don’t have any feelings anymore.
