Israel announces partial troop withdrawal in new phase

Monday, Israel announced a new phase of its war against Hamas, one that includes a partial troop withdrawal and more targeted artillery and air strikes in Gaza.

But Israeli foreign policy advisor Dr. Ophir Falk took to Fox News to say the goal remains the same.

The new phase of the war also includes some reservists returning to work in the coming months in an effort to stabilize the country’s economy. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that the war will last for several more months. But Dr. Falk said de-radicalization could take years.
