Israel is now signaling plans to invade southern Lebanon as the next phase of its battle against the terror group Hezbollah – which has been firing rockets into Northern Israel for almost a year.
IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi told northern troops yesterday,
We are preparing the process of a maneuver, which means your military boots, your maneuvering boots, will enter enemy territory, enter villages that Hezbollah has prepared as large military outposts.
This marks Israel’s latest escalation against Hezbollah – prompting US fears of a full-scale war.
Earlier today, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected a ceasefire proposal by the US and France, saying Israel will continue fighting “with full force” until its goals are achieved.
