Israeli military recovers bodies of 6 hostages killed by Hamas

Israeli officials confirmed on Saturday they had recovered the bodies of six hostages recently killed by Hamas, including one American.

Autopsy findings show the victims were shot multiple times at close range only days before their bodies were found. In a statement, President Joe Biden said he was “devastated and outraged” by the death of American-Israeli Hersh Goldberg-Polin.

Vice President Kamala Harris also released a statement condemning Hamas as “an evil terrorist organization” with “even more American blood on its hands.” The IDF says more than 100 people are still being held captive by Hamas.
