The Kansas City Chiefs emerged victorious again at this year’s Super Bowl.
The 58th championship match ended with the Chiefs barely beating the San Francisco 49ers, 25-22, in an overtime game, only the second in Super Bowl history.
The second half saw a comeback for the Chiefs, who trailed the 49ers by double digits. They went on to tie the score late in the 4th quarter. Then, in overtime, the Chiefs responded to a 49ers field goal by scoring a winning touchdown.
This marks the third Super Bowl victory for the Chiefs in just five years, and the team’s fourth in franchise history. They are now the ninth team to earn back-to-back Super Bowl wins.
