Lawmakers hear emotional testimony on illegal immigrant murders

Lawmakers in Washington, D.C., heard emotional testimony yesterday from the mothers of three Americans murdered by illegal immigrants. Each of the women said that her child would be alive today were it not for the Biden-Harris administration’s failure to secure the border.

The hearing was held by the House Judiciary Committee. During the hearing, committee chair Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) accused the White House of purposefully dismantling border protections.

Ranking Democrat Jerry Nadler (N.Y.) said it was unfair to pin their deaths on President Biden, saying he doesn’t blame Donald Trump for crimes committed by illegal immigrants during his time in office.
