We all thought mask mandates were long behind us, but think again.
While it’s nothing compared to a couple of years ago, the average Covid-19 hospitalizations has been on the rise since July.
After reports of positive cases among students in the Atlanta University Center, the Atlanta-based Morris Brown College announced the return of its mask policy.
To take it a step further, they’re also reimplementing social distancing for the next two weeks and banning large student gatherings.
Meanwhile, New Jersey’s Rutgers University and DC’s Georgetown University are also requiring masks. Rutgers also mandates vaccinations for in-person learning. And it’s not just schools. Hollywood studio Lionsgate announced a mask requirement for its workers this week as well.
